Directions:

Jeera (Cumin) Rice 1. Rinse rice. Option: soak rice for 30 minutes to reduce cooking time. 2. Cook rice: In a pot on medium heat, add 1 cup of Bamboo Rice and water (5-6 cups). Add salt to taste. Adjust water level as needed based on your appliance. 3. Boil for 40 minutes until water is absorbed or rice is tender. If there is excess water, drain, and cover for 15 minutes. 4. Saute 3 teaspoons of cumin seeds in 2 tablespoons of coconut oil on medium heat, do not burn. Mix with rice and serve as as side dish.
